Archaeology Isotope Lab

The Archaeology Isotope Lab is part of the Laboratory of Archaeology at the Department of Anthropology and we have two lab locations, one in the Anthropology building and our main lab in the Museum of Anthropology (which houses our four isotope ratio mass spectrometers).

Our research projects involve the application of isotope analysis (C, N, S, O, H, Sr) to look at past human and animal dietary adaptations and migration patterns and we also work on forensic and ecological projects.
