Anthropology PhD student Sisi Yang was recently selected as one of the 20 AAA members to participate in this year’s “Write to Change the World” OpEd Project. She attended the workshop coached by Angela Wrightand Neil Young, who guided Sisi and her diverse group of peers on how to effectively share their knowledge and make a greater impact.
Sisi encourages fellow students to keep an eye out for future opportunities with the OpEd Project—not only for the inspiring workshops but also for the valuable chance to connect with a network of journalist mentors and receive individual support from an AAA mentor.
