Abstract:

Conserving heritage is a shared mission of humanity, museums, and heritage sites, public education should be an universal initiative for heritage conservation. The inherent characteristics of nature and humans determine that humanity, museums and heritage collectively embody diversity, fluidity and ecological attributes. Through practical cases, this talk illustrates that in the process of interpreting, exhibiting and conserving heritage, it is essential to involve diverse stakeholders, develop educational programs tailored to different groups, and interpret and exhibit humanity and human society in an objective, scientific, authentic, and comprehensive manner with a responsible attitude and actions. Only by doing so can we safeguard and meet the needs of heritage conservation and its sustainable development with humanity, and achieve holistic education at the same time.
