My research applies open source 3D photogrammetry software and GIS to the problem of classifying and quantifying lithic use wear in an objective and replicable manner.  Specifically, I am interested in assemblage-scale analyses of use wear on microblades from the British Columbia Interior Plateau.  My research includes a heavy experimental component, with lithic replication, use-wear experiments, and the design and construction of custom electronic monitoring equipment for recording lithic experiment processes.  My field work has been focused in British Columbia, with projects in Haida Gwaii, the Gulf Islands, Fraser Valley, Similkameen Valley, and Thompson River areas.
