Meaghan Plumridge is a learner based on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, who was raised in the Southern Gulf Islands on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of Coast Salish peoples. She graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a double major in Cultural Anthropology and History and has since returned to pursue her masters in the faculty of anthropology at UBC. Meaghan’s academic interests question the structure and consequent realities of Canadian settler law and its obstruction of Indigenous rights and sovereignty relating to data and heritage management in British Columbia. In her free time, she is a run clinic leader and continues her 5th season with the UBC Dance team for the 2024/2025 season
