Additional Description
Current Projects:
1) To examine the process of urbanization in Yin Xu, the last capital of Shang Dynasty (13th to 11th century B.C., China). We will start with reconstructing the palaeodietary and mobility patterns of the Yin Xu residents, by using stable isotope analyses (dD, d13C, d15N, d18O and d34S) of human and animal bone collagen.
2) To develop a methodology to analyze stable hydrogen and oxygen isotopes in collagen.
