For my Honours Thesis I will be going to the University of Edinburgh to study human skeletons. I will be creating biological profiles of ten adult skeletons from Medieval Scotland. A biological profile consists of the estimated age at death, sex, stature, and ancestry and is assessed using morphological traits. I am also evaluating the methods that I am using by analyzing their levels of accuracy and giving a qualitative discussion of potential sources of error. The methods that I am using are determined by the preservation of the skeletons.
