The Ethnograph is Open for Submissions and Volunteers



The Ethnograph is now open for submissions for Volume 9!

They are also looking for volunteers for a number of positions.

The Ethnograph is an annual, peer-reviewed academic journal that strives to showcase outstanding pieces of undergraduate scholarship at UBC.

Managed by the Anthropology Students’ Association alongside the Department of Anthropology, this journal accepts submissions from a wide range of anthropological subfields, including, but not limited to: sociocultural anthropology, archaeological anthropology, linguistic anthropology, medical anthropology, and applied anthropology.

Previous issues are hosted in the undergraduate research category of the UBC Library Open Collections page via the digital publishing program cIRcle. Looking for a way to get involved with the Anthropology community on campus this year? The Ethnograph, UBC’s Anthropology undergraduate journal, is now hiring executives for the 2024-25 season! They are currently seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to fill our Marketing Coordinator and Submissions Coordinator positions.
